Psycho attacks APSRTC bus near Tada
Four of the passengers on board the APSRTC Super Luxury Bus which is coming from Bhadrachalam to Chennai were attacked on the bus. The incident happened near Tada on Thursday, 26th July,2012. Three of the passengers died. The passengers noticed the attack and stopped the bus near Tada and once the bus stopped, the attacker got down and escaped from the bus. The driver says that the attacker may be one among the 15 people who boarded the bus at Nellore.
An un known person suspected as psycho, throttled the neck of one of the passengers and made knife injuries in the chest of other two passengers when they were fast asleep. The injured person raised alarm and the psycho escaped into darkness when the driver stopped the bus. Two passengers died on the spot and another expired while undergoing treatment at Sullurpeta hospital. The APSRTC Bus belonging to Bhadrachalam Depot was proceeding to Chennai when the incident happened around 4:00 AM. The persons died are identified as Niranjan of Kavali, K Rambabu
of Ongole in Prakasam District and Ajay Biswas of Malkangiri in Odisha.
As per the statement of the Bus Driver, nearly 24 passengers including the psycho were in the bus at the time of incident. About 10 special teams of Police Department have launched a hunt for the psycho.
