To start the business, Mr. Jayawanth started with a capital of Rs. 27 lakhs which he borrowed from his father, a businessman. This money was used by him to buy books and rent a warehouse at Jayanagar, Bangalore. The warehouse stocks about 5000 books on various subjects. Initially he has offered a package which allowed a student to rent the entire set of books listed for the syllabus during the semester. Later on he noticed that students did not need all the books in each semester. So he started offering separate books as per their requirements.
How the site works

- A student can pick up any book depending on the semester and pay a refundable deposit which is the maximum retail price of the book and have it delivered at their door steps in 1-5 days for a price.
- There is no limit on the number of books that you take for rent
Payment Options
There are two types of payment options for taking books for rent - Cash on Delivery or Transfer money online to company's account. Once the semester ends, the books are to be returned in good condition. 60 to 70% of the deposited money will be returned back to the student.
